Precinct resides upon old commercial and industrial land, used for warehousing, office buildings, concrete/bitumen facility, chemical product storage, distribution and waste management. Significant contaminated soil was removed and disposed before a quality foundation was established.
Construction commenced in 2010 with settlement for occupancy in December 2013. Precinct was developed by Salvo Property Group, and constructed by ProBuild. Salvo Property Group contracted Essential Community Management to an initial five year Owners Corporation (OC) management of Precinct. The buildings committee of owners has been chaired by the same chairperson since initial occupancy settlement.
Precinct has undergone significant transformation over the past decade since settlement. Like all newly built apartment complexes, you find the issues as they occur; Precinct is no different in this sense. With progressive upgrades year-on-year, Precinct is one of the most secure apartment complexes within the area, subject to little crime or security concern today. Precinct committee have consistently adopted a – prevention is better than cure – approach, placing the complex in good stead a decade on.
Precinct focus is maintenance and general upkeep of the property to enhance all residents daily living and minimise future costs with preventative maintenance.
