Parking at Precinct

Like all of Melbourne, parking can be difficult and restrictive. Most streets are permit only for those who own houses on those streets. As such, Precinct has little parking options.

Victoria street provides limited hourly parking, as both inbound and outbound are clearways during respective peak hours.

Grosvenor street has limited hourly parking and overnight outside those hours. Some of Grosvenor is No Standing and subject to towing. There is a loading zone near 8 Grosvenor entrance. Other parts are permit only.

Flockhart street has zero parking and both sides are No Standing zones. Parking illegally on private property within surrounding commercial / industrial buildings is high risk for towing or property owner action.

Shamrock street between Grosvenor and Flockhart is private property of Precinct. This area is a tow away zone managed strictly by Precinct 24 hour staff. Precinct use this street for OC related trade parking, not trades for residents. It’s also used for booked move-in move-out transport. Anything not authorised by Precinct management is towed at the owners cost by contracted towing.

Precinct has multi-level underground car parking for residents that have an allocated car park (private property) and commercial space private parking. This parking is fully allocated and subject to contracted towing for any unauthorised parking. Access is restricted to RFID or time restrictive via parking APP. It’s all monitored and towing is frequently used by residents and building management / security staff.

If you need daily or longer term parking around Precinct, there is a paid parking facility down Flockhart street with limited public paid parking ($11 per 24 hours booked long-term). Beyond that, it is advised to park your vehicle in paid parking at Victoria Gardens shopping centre and walk to Precinct, otherwise you will likely be towed / fined, incurring an expensive bill.
